Once sentenced his political career is virtually over.

You can't be a felon holding presidency.

This is a quote from an article I read on CBS News...

“You could just have a fine; you could have probation." But there's no law against running for president and winning an election while imprisoned — or from serving as president from prison.”

In regards to that quote yeah sure that's true but, it's very unlikely the people would nominate someone sitting in jail or living under felony probation. So basically he can continue to run but, his chances and the odds of winning decreased tremendously at this point.
Some might act like this doesn't mean anything but it does. With this conviction, the odds of him winning are slimmer now than before.

The GOP/Republicans definitely aren't excited about this because now they have a defacto candidate who in some ways already threw away the race. Which at this point, it'll have to be a miracle of some sorts for Trump to win with these conviction charges looming over him.

They have no choice but to run him at this stage of the campaign, it's too late for them to ride with another candidate. Honestly, this is the last go-around for Trump's chances of reelection, if he loses in November, conservatives won't back him in 2028.

He will be in prison in 2028 anyway

Future generations are going to think we were retarded.
I keep saying it.

One of the dumbest times in history for a period where humans claimed to be "sophisticated" and "cultured".

Instead it's fart jokes, racism and genocides.

We'll look back on this era and ask ourselves "What could we have done better?"

Analyst on CNN just said he looked at 10,0000 similar cases and most ended up with jail time and that this case was the most serious he's seen.

I don't think he's getting jail time but if the Judge gives him jail time it would not be unusual. He should get jail time.

Trump has insane levels of cult of personality

the prosecutors are just worried about all these nut cases who will kill and be killed for this man.

the problem is that many are in government as well
