Venezuelans approve a referendum to claim sovereignty over a swathe of neighboring Guyana
It remains unclear how Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro will enforce the results of the vote.

My Guyanese brehs say that Guyana is SUPER-CORRUPT and that most of the benefits from that oil won't be trickling down to the people. That being said, like I mentioned in the other thread, USA should hold Guyana down and not allow Guyana to be bullied just because they're small and don't speak Spanish. Venezuela got a lot of enemies out there right now. Venezuela is just posturing/huffing and puffing. So all these decades they haven’t claimed part of Guyana belongs to them until oil was discovered there and now they just so happen to claim the part of Guyana where the oil was found?![]()
Russia is trying to create distractions from the war in Ukraine through instability, which is why they are instigating (and paying) friendly regimes to cause crisis. They're doing it in Africa, they did it with Hamas and now they are doing it in Latin America.countries always be warring this much and news just starting to pick it up more, or we really slowly continuing towards WW3?
