I'm an 80's baby. I grew up with three different sonic shows. One Saturday mornings on fox in the 90's, one on cbs on Saturdays in the 2000's, as well as Sonic x in the late 2000's on cwtv Chicago. I have all of the sonic games from the genesis era, as well as Sonic CD for the Sega Saturn which has a level dedicated to Sonic trivia, in which I learned back in the 90's that Tails real name is Miles Prower. Negged. Edit: Sonic Adventure from the dreamcast also said as much. Negged again when I'm off 30's.
To be fair, caterpie evolving into butterfree is a pretty accurate representation of how a Caterpillar becomes a butterfly.no i mean design wise

Except for the part where Caterpie and metapod, like all other pokemon have aspects of their evolutions in venomoth. Hell venonat is pretty much Butterfree without wings from the mouth shape, hands, feet, compound eyes body color and antennae. How many pokemon are drastically different from their evolutions in the same way?
