Its probably a work. But on the real the indy guys bring in viewers, and get guys that are actually good like Velveteen, more exposure. Also gives them experienced guys to work with.

I'm not saying he didn't wrestle before this. By this logic anyone who learned to wrestle outside of the PC isnt a NXT product.

NXT is finishing school, its not wrestling school.

Sasha, Bayley, wrestled before coming to FCW/NXT. But they entire aura is NXT made. So is Velveteen.

As opposed to KO or Sami, they are basically stylized versions of who they were before.

That’s the catch 22 with NXT. Is it a development league or is it a 3rd brand? Is it a spot where Indy wrestlers can come in for a short period get acclimated to the WWE before being called up or is it a spot where a former body builder or football player learns wrestling from the ground up?


Even with NXT, 3 hours of Raw, 2 hours of Smackdown, 205 etc…there is too much talent & not enough time/direction. Someone always gets squeezed.
