Goku kicked his ass in the saiyan saga (Vegeta had to go Monkey Form)

Frieza kicked his ass in the Namek saga and Pleaded with his dying bytch-made breath for Goku to save the day

Cell HUMILIATED him during the Cell Saga, murdered his son, and mocked him relentlessly while he stood his bytch made ass by and watched Gohan save the day

He sacrificed his "pride" to get a power up that STILL didn't make him stronger than Goku, Goku humored him in their fight to spare his bytch made feelings

Buu kicked his ass relentlessly and EMBARRASED him in front of his son, he FINALLY admitted his bytch-made tendencies and acknowledged Goku as the best while he, once again, saved the world.

Vegeta...ain't.. S-H-I-T
LOL.

Goku didn't beat Vegeta during the saiyan saga. He used kaioken and maxed out his body, unable to fight any longer, that's TKO. It wasn't pure strength, much rather was a single technique giving him a short advantage during a KI blast struggle. Vegeta got pissed and used his ape form to torment the Z Warriors. I see how you are though, ape form not credited to Vegeta's strength but kaioken is to Goku. Got ya.

Frieza saga, Goku was closer to strength than Vegeta was to Frieza.. After receiving a zenkai boost from healing from the Cpt. Ginyu bout. I mean, this is all on the writers, its just a fictional story.

Cell saga, you forget Vegeta was equal to Goku because all the saiyans had reached ascended level? It was just too bulky and slow which Trunks found out. Gohan was the strongest while all others were equal. Dealing in facts not hate here. Gohan would have died and the world would be gone if not for Vegeta's interference during their Kamehameha struggle.

Buu saga.. Goku was stronger, he had reached super saiyan 3. Still wouldn't have been able to win against Buu without Vegeta stalling for time and coming up with the idea to replenish Goku's KI with the dragon balls.

I like both characters for different reasons but you sir are a hater.

Nasty. Did he have to do the 5 pure saiyans thing too or... nah?

Goku is the only one who did the ritual to get SSG, and then absorbed some of the god ki, plus trained with whiz, to get SSGB

Vegeta trained UP TO goku's level(some debate he got stronger than base goku), and gained the ability to sense god ki, then trained with whis and goku to get SSGB.

Both had to learn how to keep there KI from leaking as well.

That was Vegeta being arrogant due to the fact that cell wasn't even in competition with him anymore at the time. Vegeta wasn't challenged by Cell so he wasn't really fighting just for the thrill of the fight. There was no threat so there was no survival aspect. And eventually Vegeta would have killed Cell had he not become perfect. Goku on the other hand would have let cell live so that they could be sparing partners some day.

The point being made that you are ignoring is that Vegeta helped Cell become perfect because he wanted a greater challenge, which is the definition of sport fighting. One thing you got right is that he is arrogant, when he reaches a new level of power he's so full of himself he can't imagine anyone being stronger than him. When he finds someone who is he bytch up real quick then get mad.

I'll give you the saiyan saga.

In the Namek saga Vegeta was never close to Goku level. He never fought anyone as strong as Ginyu until Freiza who was toying with him up until the moment he died. Goku gave Freiza a challenge before being overwhelmed, then went super to win the fight.

Vegeta and Trunks were not equal to Goku at the point of perfect Cell. Cell beat the breaks off those 2 then Goku fought him to a stalemate before quiting. Vegeta did get a cheapshot in to help at the end, that became his signature move later.

Stalling and making plans is the spot that Krillen used to hold down. Are you saying that's where Vegeta belongs?:sas2:

People keep on forgetting this fact about that golden freeza v vegeta fight. Vegeta stans just blindly thinking he is stronger now because of how he dominated freeza. Uh, you nikka realize that Freeza was already weakened from fighting Goku, right? We don't know if Vegeta is actually stronger. I personally don't think he is.
