Yea and he wanted Gohan as the hero which is why ss2 and elder kai ability were created. He wanted Gohan to get the keys. Fans protested they wanted Goku so he was brought back. He's said that Piccolo his favorite character though so hopefully he gets a major power boost for this tournament.:blessed:

If you're talking about future Trunks, both him and Vegeta entered the same level of relevancy at the end of the Trunks saga :mjlol:

But the fact is that what Gohan did and achieved will always be better than anything coming from Vegeta's seeds :umad:

I knew somebody would bring this up... and yeah, Krillin made things a lot worse with his little-headed decision.

But we can't completely ignore Vegeta purposely allowing Cell to get 18, to the point of attacking Trunks who was the only one over there using logic. Let's say Vegeta knew about that device Krillin had... you're telling me he would allow him to even use it? :comeon:

At that point Vegeta and Trunks were strong enough to destroy Cell, but Krillin should've deaded any chance of 18 being absorbed. Cell would've blown himself up right then and there and destroyed the planet, but they had no idea he was able to do so. In hindsight, everything sort of worked out in the end, though I'm willing to wager that Trunks, had Vegeta not been there wanting a fight, would've went for the quick kill against Cell negating any chance of him absorbing or blowing himself up. However, Vegeta fighting for survival is simply not true.

Vegeta, like all Sayians, fought for the love of the fight, not survival.
