Without Yajirobe and Krillin. Goku getting molested by the Prince. It was Vegeta vs Goku, Krillin & Gohan. Goku needed techniques given to him by Gods, the help of earthlings and he still got washed by the Prince.

Goku needed piccolo to beat raditz..... piccolo actually got the kill too
He needed gohan, krillin and yajarobe for the true saiyan gawd prince vegeta
Nappa had already fought about 8 nikkas before goku even showed up
Recoome had already fought vegeta, gohan and krillin before goku even showed up.
Frieza.... he didn't even beat they fought to a draw because goku ain't a Killa and refused to put two in his dome

vegeta was the strongest saiyan alive up until the frieza saga. Remember vegeta beat goku in their first fight even though goku had help. Yeah he did alot of bytching once goku surpassed him. But he trained 100x harder than he complained. The original born into royalty spoiled brat gets humbled and becomes a champion of the people... who can't relate to vegeta? You ever wanted something so bad you'd die to get it? That's how vegeta became a super saiyan. Yeah he got fukked up alot... and then "cried" but then it was right back to training to get stronger.. Go hard for what you believe in and give it your all to achieve your goals.... that's what Vegeta the prince of all saiyans represents to me... if I want something in life ima go after it how vegeta trained...
They say vegeta cries to much. We've all had moments when we felt like we couldn't do what we were trying to accomplish and questioned ourselves, maybe even flat out gave up... but vegeta always comes to his senses in the end and gets busy. Win lose or draw
