yup, i actually like loma but imo this is a bad matchup for him.

having a 8" reach advantage and ko power would have loma on the outside looking like a bytch hesitant to jump in playing double dutch. even when walters gave up his size/reach against nonito he showed he's still a good inside fighter. loma fights to much in spots/spurts for me and i don't think he active enough to beat walters. i think walter is the real deal at 126 and a bad matchup for anyone 126 and down.

I'll be rooting Walters, but I think Vasyl will win. A couple times during that Donaire fight I thought Walters was going catch the worst during their exchanges. He did get hurt in the second round too, and it would have been a wrap had there been another minute for Donaire to work. His defense looked suspect to me a couple of times. That said, Vasyl has the speed and technical prowess to capitalize off Walters' mistakes better than a shot Donaire could do.

Salido was overweight and looked like an old man against Vasyl, but he was wiley and experienced enough to pull that fight off. I think that was a good learning experience for Vasyl.

I'd say set up a tournament to unify all four belts. Walters vs. Gonzalez on one side & Lomachenko vs. Gradovich (provided they win their next fights) on the other and the winners meet up. I think we would be left with Walters vs. Lomachenko anyway but the fight would be bigger

salido was landing on loma's chin easily in the first half of their fight. i dont think walters will have trouble doing the same. i see him winning a unanimous decision.
