What's it about?

Princess has powers to freeze things. Out of fear of her being exiled, her parents force her to hide her powers from the people. Because of this she grows up introverted. After her parents die and she is crowned the new queen, she ends up revealing her powers and is cast out by the kingdom. Although her broken heart causes the entire kingdom to freeze over, she does not turn hateful but instead flourishes as she can finally be the person she feels she is.



Replace her ice powers with her being gay and yeah, it writes itself...

I read that tweet and I was like .

Why? Because the comics have shown that each of these female characters were into dudes.

Captain Marvel = Rhodey

Monica Rambeau = Brother Voodoo and Blue Marvel

Shuri = A Wakandan dude

I'm 100% down for LGBT representation, but trying to bend the sexuality of characters that have been around for 15+ years won't get them anywhere. They will only meet (sometimes strong) resistance with that approach.

What they should be fighting for is the inclusion of lgbt comic characters, like Wiccan, America Chavez, and so on. No reason why they couldn't be included in a Netflix show, TV show, or even an MCU film at some point. That approach makes much more sense.

Changing the sexuality of established characters? Nah breh

If you have gay kissing in a movie I think it automatically makes it rated R anyway. Marvel ain't going there, people are barking up the wrong tree.

The LGTB people are out of control. You want more representation? Fine just push for more original gay characters. Stop trying to make preexisting characters gay. We barely have enough black superheroes as it is in comics and just like in real life gays want to bypass us to get their agenda out there.
