Wow. Not Doc Holiday. My favorite movie character of all time.

RIP

Rest in Peace Mr. Kilmer.

I will never understand how that man didn't get an academy award nomination as Doc Holiday in Tombstone. Forget winning it. He didn't even get nominated.

The amount of times I rewatched Tombstone just for his scenes.

:birdman:"We play for blood, remember"
:whoa:"I-I was just fooling about."
:demonic:"I wasn't."

RIP

If not for his health we would have seen him a lot more than we did. Man had that rare star quality.

Should have won something for Tombstone. The academy can eat a dikk

Honestly one of best performances on film. He became that role. RIP

Underrated actor with a lot of range. From in depth character studies to comedy. Personal favorites are the Doors and Top Secret. He also did a some shytty movies, but I think he was on that narcotic for a while.
Godspeed to him.

The article in the op talks about him being difficult to work with and not having a good rep in Hollywood. So it might be politics.
