Not sure I understand who this is aimed at. It's excessively ultraviolent, but in every other way it seems like a straight to syndication show for kids.

My exact reasons why I can never give SyFy shows a chance.

I wish they were a premium cable channel, Sci-Fi doesn't have to be niche, the genre can have something for everybody.

NBCUniversal is cheap if you ask me. Turn SyFy into an HBO or Showtime, I'd pay to have the channel with quality content.

This show is not really "good", but I'm kind of starting to like it a little.
It's kind of like an amateur copy of Farscape, with a lower budget and without Jim Henson's puppets (or the imagination, etc.). The main "Earth human" and the main villain both remind me a little of the corresponding characters from Farscape.

It's almost unbelievable that a show with special effects this bad would even make it to TV in 2020. Visually, it's like watching a cheap looking foreign show from the 1990's like "LEXX".

Still, despite all this I'm starting to actually care what happens next. Which is more than I could say for Killjoys.
