Was just wondering what was going on with this anime a couple days ago. I loved the manga. It’s looking damn good so far. Live action movie was also pretty decent.

about as faithful as it gets. they did a good job with the voice of kirie. she had to be a little slow to put up with everything that went down with a (mostly) straight face.

in the time this has been made numerous junji ito adaptations have been released. I doubt we even get the full uzumaki here.

Yeah, but majority, especially macabre have been mid to trash. This looks like on another echelon compared to the others. Can't wait. New trailer was mind-blowing. If you pause at any time, it's legit a manga panel. Best decision since no anime has translated Ito's art well into anime

Junji Ito manga work is one of the very very few that seriously unnerved me when I read it.


edit: on a side note, I was getting my oil changed at WalMart sometime last year, started browsing. Saw a Uzumaki Coloring Book just sitting out in the open all willy nilly in the childrens books section.

I was like wtf
