can you post some of their tracks? With the exception of some of Koda Kumi’s songs, I can’t really get into other Japanese women’s music because they usually sound so high pitch and squealy. I’m partial to Utada because her American upbringing has influenced her singing style—she’s much closer to R&B than J-Pop. She could have been a big star in America if she had better marketing.

Maaya's far more J-Pop than R&B so I can see why there isn't much correlation between the two. IIRC, Escaflowne was her intro to both voice acting and singing so I'm really partial to a lot of those songs
