Its disaster capitalism during a real or manufactured crisis. Destroy USPS, which is a government entity that’s more reliable than private mail carriers and pretty much guarantees your privacy, and switch it out for a private entity in which coincidentally politicians (except for true progressives), CEOs, lobbyists, etc. make money. Look who the postmaster general is for fukks sake. It’s just spearheaded by Republicans who don’t believe in “big” government. It’s like Katrina in NO in 2005. Somehow the black areas had no more projects, didn’t give them section 8 or move them somewhere else and they created market rent housing. Somehow all public schools turned into public charter schools too straight out of the Milton Friedman handbook (“school choice”).
