Usher's halftime performance at Super Bowl 2024 drew in 30.1 million households, more than the hugely popular Dr. Dre halftime show and Rihanna.

Right breh. He’s easily one of the biggest superstars of the past 30 years. He got a damn hit on the radio right now

One guy said he's bigger than Em to white people, newsflash. he ain't, by any metric.

Yea that’s not true. But I will say Usher has a deeper catalog that is more suitable for this type of event

I'm not even sure about that, i'm willing to bet Eminem headlining by himself would break all viewing records, i don't think a song like Just lose It is suited to any event but the cacs would go crazy.:russ:

In todays episode of “Ni99as on The Coli Say ANYTHING Before Doing Research *or a 2 Minute Google”

“While his first residency earned $18.8 million from 84,000 tickets sold, “My Way: The Vegas Residency” earned $95.9 million from 394,000 tickets sold — totaling to $114.6 million.

Across the 100 residency shows, each show earned an average of $1.198 million. The report also notes that the total revenue generated is more than any of his previous tours he’s had to date.”

I guess those were all black people?

:mjpls:

Cacs stay revealing themselves.
When I went to the last residency there was a whole asian family sitting on front of me. From teenagers to grandparents. It was kind of weird, lol.

The night I went, the night Taraji set off the celebrity serenade, there were a good amount of non-black fans in the building. Yes I had GREAT seats.

I agree but something I found strange was a white co-worker in her mid 50's said her friends told her while they thought Usher was ok they flipped out when Ludacris came out. Random as hell.
Not random at all. I don’t think people understand how immensely popular Luda (and Nelly) is with white people.

Usher is much more universally accepted than Snoop, Dre, Em, and 50. Every single song Usher performed is played til this day at every bar, club, lounge, party, sporting event, etc in the United States. And not like every now and then…those songs get played every damn day at the types of places I named.

Funny thing is all the tracks he played at the Super Bowl they play at these clubs especially “yeah” and “OMG”
