Both albums gave me hella memories for the time, but Confessions really hits different. Like it came out during my early twenties, while 8701 came out during my late teens.

There's something about listening to "Simple Things" on the bus after spending time with ya chick. The memory of doing shotgun from a hit of weed while "Can You Handle It" came on. The bass hit when she blew smoke into my mouth breh.

When "My Boo" came out, I was handholding with a chick during a blizzard and Septa being on strike.

That album just feels like the best memories of the mid 2000s, while 8701 just felt like a dope album
