Chris Brown doesn't have a Confessions or even an 8701. Dude never left the My Way lane (great dancing and performance with music that was adored by children and young adults, but didn't much resonate with grown ups outside of "Nice & Slow"). And speaking of "Nice & Slow", that's the route Chris's music has taken (halfway rapping instead of singing). People legit thought Twista wrote Usher's rap on "Nice & Slow".

They didn't separate. JD just wasn't as involved in Usher's albums as much. People don't even realize he mainly did the singles on Confessions. That album has like 17 songs not counting the bonus songs. Then you have Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis on the bulk of 8701. JD did the bulk of My Way and that's the most songs he's had on an Usher album. He also had songs on Raymond vs Raymond.

And while i do admit Confessions is better then anything Chris brown dropped Im taking chris brown discography over usher's any day. But it is a age gap between fans. I admit that.
