At the very same time, AD is responsible for tanking his own legacy potential by falling off a cliff as a 3pt shooter. His contemporaries all got better from 3; Jokic, Embiid, Brook Lopez, Marc Gasol, maybe now Bam Etc. MeanwhileAD went from serviceable to ‘bruh please do not shoot 3s’.
Part of why AD can’t play the 4 is he can’t shoot 3s. If he could,AD as a stretch 4 was gonna be a cheat code, lakers woulda won another chip, and he’s around top 20 all time.
