Informed delivery was and always will be wrong..
It’s mail that you will receive a week out..
It’s was never an accurate program..
Except for packages..
Even then..
It was future dated..
Now ask yourself..
You mad about not getting mail right..
Now look at it from your carriers POV..
Your carrier is not only delivering mail in inclement weather..
Heat indexes over a 100..
They are literally driving in death traps..
Sure there have been upgraded vehicles..
But not all offices are getting them..
Then factor in management on your ass..
Telling you to beat the truck/be done by 7pm..
Then factor in splits(which is when a route is cut up..
So different carriers take a piece..
Never seen any of these addresses and only have a map/told to use your phone)..
Then factor in that you haven’t had a NS workday..
Working 7 days a week for two months and still can’t catch up on packages..
Then factor in a GLOBAL PANDEMIC..
Delivery carriers(of any company) are not immune to this fukking illness..
So factor in people calling in left and right..
Not having enough coverage for the entire office..
Then factor in certain positions being dissolved without very little notice..
Then factor in pensions carriers are paying into..
And we really don’t know the full fall out of this fukkery..
So put your first world worry about not getting mail in a GLOBAL PANDEMIC..
In perspective..
nikkas wouldn’t last a day in a carriers shoes..
And y’all damn sure wouldn’t have made it through Jim Crow..
Weak ass generation:unimpressed:

I aint mad at them. They work 6 days a week every week unless there's a fed holiday.

It's a cake job. Good pay, good benefits. No education required. I know like 7 or 8 mailmen. They love their job. It's easy. Even on hard days. Then again they arent fukk ups and they know how good they have it. They know other jobs suck. Companies, businesses, come and go. Your post office ain't going nowhere. Neither are your carriers. It's a smart move.

So you need no degree or anything? I applied for a post office job last year and didnt even get an interview. Maybe tons of people apply?

From what I've heard from my people that are doing it is it's pretty competitive. Like you might have to apply/interview 2-3 times. Over a couple years. But then again the only openings are from people that either moved up or retired.

Their average tenure is pretty high, people get those jobs and keep'em. They look for people who have a track record of working at a place for a long time and little instances of being late/missing work. But once your on they are good with benefits like paid time off, sick leave, medical leave, family sick leave etc. I've heard some offices can be dikks but that's cause they dont fukk around, they want people that's going to come to work, get the work done and done right and be ready to go home. My boy tried to talk me into it several times.

He has a good pension for when he retires which is only like 8 years away and he will be younger than 45. Which is good for him considering most people dont have the option until afterwards.

Okay. This is actually causing my mail to get fukked with...and others have told me theyve been losing pieces of mail too recently.
My sister started a new job last month. Her second check took a long ass time to be mailed. (Direct deposit taking a pay cycle longer than planned) :smh:

Most Americans recognize, but historic arrogant pride won't let them admit that the US is now a dictatorship. There's no discernable difference between this administration and Saddam's or Mobutu's etc.

You have a guy openly committing and admitting every day to electoral crimes and crimes against humanity with his covid response but there's no real outrage.
