Israel has vowed to begin targeting leaders of the Iranian-backed Houthis in Yemen — a major escalation after the terror group claimed responsibility for a spate of missile and drone attacks.
The United Nations said on Friday that the Houthis who control northern Yemen had detained an unspecified number of U.N. personnel, and it was suspending movement in all Houthi-held areas while seeking the detainees' immediate release.
Iran's foreign ministry denied allegations by US Central Command (CENTCOM) which said its forces seized an advanced Iranian-made weapons shipment near Yemen, en-route to the Tehran-backed Houthi militant group.
