I mean he was practically dead anyway and they did some crazy science shyt and gave him two more months to live....

5 years from now, instead of 2 extra months to live it might be 2 years extra.

10 years from now, instead of 2 extra months to live it might be 20 years extra.

If that shyt saves me in the future Im all for it. I'll gladly take a pig heart....fukk it

Unfortunate, but it's still a step forward for medical science.

Keep in mind that this guy was dying anyway and wasn't eligible for a normal heart transplant (and there aren't enough human hearts to go around anyway). The pig heart bought him a few months.


Hopefully they can use the data here to advance the technology in the future.
