Really stupid from a national security standpoint. This just creates more geopolitical allies for China and Russia. Expect Russia to get more military contracts and power plant contracts in Africa. Expect more Chinese ports in Latin America and more Chinese railroads in Africa , Southeast Asia, and eastern europe

Foreign aid is defense.

thats nothing, when diseases start spreading more rapidly, watch how quickly it affects the world economy and ours. prevention efforts is the cheaper option. he didn't learn a damn thing from covid after ending the $300 million pandemic response program.

Remember when people, for some odd reason, thought Trump and the GOP were going to go hard in the paint against Israel :mjlol:?

Did people really forget that Trump was literally slobbing Israel's knob back during his first term :heh:?

Conservatives, and the United States in general, for the most part, is a haven full of Jesus/Christianity fanatics and nutheads, which is partially why the American government has a love affair with Israel, due to its religious beliefs.

Kinda unrelated to the thread topic but why did people think they'd be sympathetic to Muslims, etc? I still wonder why non-Black Muslims trusted Trump and his people to do right by them. The US literally leads the way in anti-muslim, anti-Islamic rhetoric, and Palestinians aren't any different.

America has been unfavorable towards the Muslim/Islamic religion for the longest.

Let me give you some insight those tariffs are nothing more than word salad...Trump has no intention of going thru with it but he wants MAGA to think hes being tough like he did when he said Mexico will pay for the wall...
The question is why is it brought up, what’s the reasoning, rather or not it will go through is a different issue

It’s a common theme with some of the shyt he been talking

So while people want to "enjoy the fukkery" there are deals we have in place and allies who will flat out stop fukking with us. Foreign aid is a tiny part of the budget. This is what this rotten ass country voted for. They might start attaching wild conditions to the aid whenever they are restored.
No one voted for this. This is just Trump and republicans being fukking stupid. Like we less than a week in and it’s to the point we can’t normalize this like the people wanted this. Trump is out of pocket.

:francis:The country is not broke. It is however having a revenue problem, but I can tell you why:

The President now runs the country with the help of multiple billionaires AND has the social media ecosphere catering to him. They need to be taxed. Aid to other countries, infrastructure in the US, healthcare, etc are NOT what is putting us in a societal bind, it is billionaires and multinationals getting to scoot without paying their fair share. In the wake of the Great Recession, Obama had the largest increase of national debt by 8.34 trillion. 8 years and the greatest crash in damn near 100 years.

Trump in 4 years ran it up 8.18 trillion. Big ass 2017 tax cuts, and fukked up a pandemic to the point we are still recovering from it. Do not cut any slack to these rich shytheads. The country would be just fine if they paid up, but they are working on their next hustle as we speak.

Edit: they are not cutting the military. We could have unbelievable prosperity if just a percentage of the military budget was moved to improve the country, especially with climate change coming off the top rope on us.
I agree with you but who and what party about to hold billionaires accountable?

I wouldn’t be surprised if military had budget cuts just based on the fact that he trying to get out of nato and other situations internationally, which is a decent chunk of the budget
