the US is just pretending this problem exists because they dont want to upset Israel, and our administration relates to what israels government is doing right now. everywhere else in the world, people understand this is a huge human rights crisis and that israels behavior needs to be addressed.

Yeah, its retarded. It ignores the Palestinian role in this war. It ignores that the people of Gaza willingly elected a terrorist organization to lead it. It ignores the fact Hamas incites violence and uses innocent civilians as shields while they fire rockets from hospitals, schools, UNRWA properties. It ignores the fact Hamas leadership has been stealing tons of aid money. It ignores the fact the remaining aid money is mostly spent on tunnels and Hamas military outfits instead of on the Gazan people. Israel is complicit and has blood on its hands but the way the Coli completely dismisses the wrongs of the Palestinians and their contributions to this shyt show is comical.
Also, Palestinians hate us, right? So why are we giving them money? What happened to all their Arab and Muslim brethren that pledged to rebuild Gaza and help the Palestinians? Google that shyt...They got next to NONE of the pledged aid. Holding out this aid package is huge leverage to get them to the table. They have no real support outside of the US.
hamas only governs gaza. its an open air prison with no control over its borders, no control over its water supply and some of the worst economic conditions on earth. i hate hamas but it didnt take a genius to see why they would win election in 2005 after fatah had done nothing of substance for the strip. the US also didnt have to sponsor those elections when it was obvious hamas was going to win.
and hamas isnt in control of the west bank, where palestinian home demolitions, illegal settlements and ethnic cleansing take place. you just decided you wouldnt even bring that territory up because it doesnt help your argument.
the ANC bombed white south african institutions that settled their land too. did they have "blood on their hands" as well?
