Kyd Slade had the crowd in the palm of his hands. I've never experienced the reaction to someone choking live like I did when Stumbles fukked up. The crowd went CRAZY as soon as he choked. I felt like that was the only battle of the night where people genuinely gave both people a fair shot to win and didn't have favorites going in. Slade 3-0, not close.
Swamp vs Arsonal was mid as I expected it to be. Swamp had mad Crips with him too, that wasn't just a bar lol. I guess Swamp 2-1? One of my best friends with me is also cool with OfficiallyIce, so him talking shyt to Ice during the battle was actually more entertaining than watching the battle. I lost a lot of interest in Swamp vs Eazy to be honest
Jaz vs Viixen, Viixen lost badly live. She had some shyt but honestly, this was some of the most mediocre material I've heard from her. Also, her setting up for haymakers is her downfall. Instead of just rapping, she's blatantly trying to land bombs and when they don't land, it's really bad. Jaz is just super strategic and knows how to win. She's not my favorite female battler by any means, but she has it down to a T. I can't front. I will say this is when the crowd's biasness started to be even more blatant though. They wasn't gonna let Jaz lose. But even if the crowd wasn't being bias, Jaz was just better than Viixen at everything last night
Mook vs Geechi, going in, I couldn't pick a winner. I ended on Mook 2-1 before it started, but Mook 3-0 honestly. Geechi was sloppy, his second round felt like he lost his place multiple times and started freestyling and just searching until he landed a bar. He barely rhymed at moments. Very cringy rebuttals too. Mook was pander man and had some really terrible lines mixed in with some dope ones. I was not overly impressed by either, but he was very smart in how he played up to the NY crowd. Mook had a lot of highlights that will look cringe on rewatch though. Mook's third was tough though.
We got to chop it up during the event with O-Red, Jai 400, Iron Solomon, Beasley. After the event, Lux (we was with Lux's cousin), Mook, Rex, Serius Jones.
Overall it was a dope night, even if the event was lackluster.

Personally I enjoyed 3 out of the 4 battles. No they are not classics mainly due to the standards set by url. I've seen much worst on a rbe or kotd stage get more praise in order to root for the underdog leagues.
But I felt kyd slade showed out. Felt Jaz and vixen had a nice back and forth with Jaz having one of her better showings and although geechi was sloppy and Mook was getting heavily gassed still felt their material was good enough to view wasn't like iron vs Mook where it was just a chore to get through and I never watched more than once, geechi vs Mook was still entertaining as hell. Although Mook still had some outdated bad bars that didn't hit it was still one of his better showings.
I can’t imagine if they ran into each other it would be anything other than a lot of loud talking.
