I knew the crowd reaction would be a big debate for this battle but damn, now we got people editing the crowd completely out
This first round is fire without the crowd reaction. Slight edge to Hart but Jaz was right there. Hart was a little better bar for bar and had more, but Jaz is performing and Hart isn't, so I can see how people in the building went the other way. I was ready to give Jaz the round if she had 30 seconds more of rapping.
So happy I didn't have to watch the version with grown men screaming for Jaz like teenage homosexuals.
2nd round clearly goes to Hart, same quality of bars from the 1st, but more intensity. Jaz had her moments and was still performing, but the consistency of the material wasn't there.
3rd round It was time for E Hart to do something different and she didn't do that. This is where the performer starts to shine more. Jaz's bars dropped off from her first but she kept my attention. Yeah I know there was a mic issue, but she's performing and has better projection.
I have Hart edging this battle on cam. But Hart HAS to start performing if she wants a call back for a bigger card. Jaz deserves a call for big URL card after this, because we all know this shyt ain't all about wins and losses. She's barring & performing. I ain't going to get into where she took her performance style from. I'm just going to enjoy her actually performing her bars for now. She'll be able to put her on twist on it.
