It's definitely up there big bruh. I re-upped the Intro just for you tho to see wassup, so try it now. I'll take that Copyright challenge if they ever bring it to my door because the World is definitely gonna get this 1 like they should. Ain't no way I could allow that. I felt just like how Ross feels about the Lil' Wayne situation. Except in this situation it's Death Row

And Omar you lucky you got to eat off of Me for a quick second . I fixed that tho...

Im listenin to it right now, so far the only thing thats somewhat new to me is the intro but I think thats just some cuts and some dialogue from other songs laid over the beat which seems familiar to me but I cant figure out what it is right now...

- "Fallin Asleep" is the same one from the WideAwake release,
-"Tha Next Episode" is Snoops freestyle from the "Afro Puffs Extended Mix" with some bars and references to Rage omitted,
-"Nuthin But A G Thang Part 2" is "Tha Next Episode OG", "
-"Original Gangsta" is "O.G." from the Wideawake Release
-"Gz Up Hoez Down" should be well known from the doggstyle album, but here after the end of the song there was one of the nate dogg st ides commercials added
-"Who Got Some Gangsta shyt" should also be known by everyone here from the MWTC OST
-"Big Pimpin" again, same song from the "Above The Rim Ost"
-"21 Jumpstreet" Same song from MWTC OST, but theres a lil interlude tucked at the end I believe I also know somehow
-"Doggystyle" is the same song from the WideAwake release again

@DoobieJRoach yo I need those Danny Boy songs, that's my bro IRL...pass the mustard.

Shiet that's wassup. I used to grind on tha neighborhood bytchez asses to "Slip N Slide" back in tha day. Had to have been like 03'. Sometimes I used to have After School "gatherings" and I had to make sure I threw DB's solo shyt in there somehow someway

But uh, u gotta talk to Bro Bro about that 1. I don't think I have anything of his that ain't already out there. But I could throw somethin' 2gether. I have a couple of other Projects that I'm doin'. I could throw Danny Boy in there. He had good Producers behind him (with alot of it done by DJ Quik) and He had good lyrics. It'll be easy

That first Doggystyle album was a much better album when it had that missing track on it. Doggystyle without that bonus track on it is just not that as good of an album.

Technically NONE of them are the same. I re"mixed" em. I used certain Bitrates & Frequencies for every song. Nothing was just by coincidence or chance. Which is why it sounds like an album, verses just a bunch of randomly put together songs. Also, they all were recorded around the same time. It still doesn't have anything to do with whether or not tha concept is real considering Snoop would leak his music early back in the day (before Sean Parker was even in the picture).

And again, we don't if that's the original version of "Tha Next Episode". It's nothing more than an Urban Legend.

:jbhmm: I don't know about that but I'm not so sure of them having Sample Clearance issues either. I could be wrong for sure but nonetheless that's never really been confirmed either. I think what happened was somebody at Disk Makers or wherever they pressed the Albums up at made a glitch. "The Look Of Love" had been sampled before if I'm not mistaken and the owner of the song is Isaac Hayes :francis:. I just can't be too sure that That nikka would have his panties in a bunch becuz they wanted to use his music. Same thing with Les McCan

That Doggfather 2 double cd bootleg was underrated as shyt also. Had a lot of unreleased Deathrow songs I've never heard of before. Also had a Snoop and Pac collab I've never heard of before. It was actually a lot better than the first Doggfather. I assumed Snoop Dogg recorded these tracks while stranded on Deathrow right after Pac died and just a couple of months before Snoop left Deathrow for No Limit.

IMO, Snoop sabotaged that Project (overall) on purpose. I think he knew that if his Newest shyt didn't sell like "Doggystyle" then he figured it might be easier to get out of his deal. Becuz honestly, considering all of the material floating around then, not even to mention how they usually just took the best of the best shyt and put it all on One album then you come to the realization that there was no way an Album like that came out instead of something else.

:leostare:

but we ended up getting tracks like these

And one more time. Nobody ever thought about just exactly WHO they were supposedly having Sample Clearance Issues with? Like seriously.

You're talking about Isaac Hayes, George Clinton, and Les McCan :pachaha:

George Clinton is on one of tha songs that he supposedly had Sample Issues with. Not to mention the other Funk Samples on there already. And Isaac Hayes tho :francis:

And if you really wanna get into it and really be objective. If you listen to the vocals closely, this original version of "Tha Next Episode" that y'all have always claimed it to be sounds more like a Remix to the first "Nuthin' But A 'G' Thang". Just listen to Snoop and Dre's vocals. It sounds like it was recorded in 1992/January-February 93'. They probably remixed the first one and left it on the cutting room floor becuz they didn't know what to do with it

Doggfather had the potential to be another classic, there are so many cut/leftover tracks from this album, with the right tracklisting (including tracks like may I, midnight love etc.) this couldve been EPIC :ohlawd:

BTW: "2001" is fukkin sick
