There is no ac in their trucks just like usps
Now recently usps got pro masters which are like station wagons with ac but the majority of our vehicles still don’t have anything but a little fan that blows hot air in your face
You have to keep a fat boy towel in your cooler with a bunch of ice and place on your head every 15-30 minutes
Another thing about people saying to drink lots of water is you can over-hydrate yourself
I can’t tell you how many times in the past where I would drink tons of water and Gatorade
Get home and have monstrous headaches and peeing for hours
Through some reading your body needs caffeine and you have to balance shyt out
Food/bottle of water/bottle of Gatorade/something with caffeine/water/Gatorade/on and on
The problem is some carriers might just drink one of these drinks and neglect the others
Then just trying to find a place to relax for 10-15 mins out of the sun
But like I said in an earlier post
You might get paid for two 15/one 30
But these trash ass supervisor will be on your ass for it and wonder why you finish so late
That’s where IDGAF comes in handy and a lot of people are scared to do that because this is all they have but once you get them years in and see the sham this shyt is
You just do the bare minimum and give two shyts about supervisors
some station carriers need to get on their union steward ass n tell em time to get the new vehicles n bring the safety issues to their attention .. they got plenty of promasters new vans sittin up stickers still on em hardly any miles on em
if you union stewards sorry the supervisor will be sorry and the station manager sorry...
weak ass mechanics be nikka riggin the flvs and llvs... they dont change the oil.. none of that shyt... i been in both where park was 2nd gear.. drive was reverese n reverse was park...no windshield wiper fluid... fan didnt work...tires bald... step on the bumper n the bytch roll... with the emergency brake on... 1 headlight...
soon as shyt go wrong..first thing the supervisor will do is try n write u up for not inspecting and reporting issues with the vehicles
when i started...
6 vets who trained us got all of us cca's together our first day after 3 day training... because the last class literally quit...because of the bullshyt vehicles they had em in ..and they knew soon as shyt happens we gettin wrote up...
so they gave us 4546 4565 and showed us where they were n told us go the grievance route if the stupid asses gave us sass about forms..and not having the proper forms...
citing the pO-603's section 142.3 - equipment and supplies.
...because they knew we was gettin the bullshyt...while everbody else got the vans n promasters
the 46 go out n inspect the vehicles.. fill it out sign it date it ...
told us
make 2 copies one for u .. the other to ya steward..
.the 65 for the repairs.. report all major shyt that was on the 46 to the 65...tires. that makes the shyt unsafe...for the road...sign it ...get the stupidvisor to sign it
dont budge until they sign if they dont.. do what they had us do.. write refuse to sign.. take a picture n give it to the union steward
heres the kicker.. all 6 vechicles we had were all unsafe to drive.. brakes was fukked off.. doors didnt lock...backgate latch was busted...so mail wasnt secure gears was fukked off

they told us to goto the breakroom...they called the vehicles in immediately .. cant do anything til thursday and it was a monday...lol
made 2 more calls.. stewards came in with 3996s already signed ... 2 carriers with vans.. we drove to coppell with gas cards... .. to pick up 6 brand new pro masters... we took the scenic route lol...
a can of worms was opened because the trainers we had .. had put in repair request for the same exact vehicles yrs ago and a mechanic came.. did all the work on site... signed off on it.. trainers got the vehicles back.. come to find out the mechanic didnt do shyt ...
