the OG DMV is only parts of maryland and virginia close to DC
but for the most part now DMV means all three states
so even people in Richmond, VA claiming DMV and Baltimore would be within that new definition, because its in maryland
but the OG DMV definition you would have to be able to catch the Metro to where you stay to be counted
But people outside of the area don't give a fukk about this dumb debate
The whole state is not part of the DMV. The DMV is specifically the DC Metropolitan Area.

no Baltimore is separate from the DMV. DC folk are being gracious by including N. VA and DC suburbs to make DMV, but its a hard stop at including Baltimore.
