I mean, they had this girl tap out vs Charlotte with seconds on the clock in an iron man match, iirc. That's straight up malicious She never successfully defended any championship and while she was losing, she was losing to the white women she was more popular than. I had no idea they even had a womens tag division, but I'm not surprised she lost that belt prematurely, too. Sasha had it, but McMahon seemingly made it his mission to demoralize her. That sort of booking speaks clearly of resentment, and I don't doubt the environment backstage reflected that.


She wasn't blonde haired and blue eyed, and as such, she was never going to be their top woman. She was on fire from day one but the long term was always Charlotte (and later, Bliss.) Being leapfrogged by women you were more popular and talented than has to be infuriating. They've clearly broken her, which was obviously the intention from the start. Wouldn't blame her at all for walking.

All this back and forth, throwing subs, having lowkey hissy fits, no showing for whatever...its only so long before you should ask yourself "why am I still putting up with this?"

By proxy of her not being caucasian, she's held to a loftier standard than her fairer peers. You pretty much have to be exceptionally flawless just to simply be considered competent if you're a black face in a white dominated field. Others can clear the same bar with "good." I work in medicine and that's absolutely our reality. It rings just as true in pro 'rasslin', if not more so.



Hell, there were groans about Kofi last night by many if you were willing to read between the lines. Flair almost paralyzed Banks and has countless botches but she's "The Queen." This is disregarding that Banks had been involved in 99% of the most praised womens matches from her NXT heel run to about 2017. The good ol' boy system and general from the audience who were angered that she found most men who look like them repulsive (remember the airport fiasco?) derailed her train. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Listen stop. I’m a huge Sasha fan but give me a break. Her booking is awful and the near year long feud with the riot squad killed her. Then inserting Nia and Tamina in the tag division hurt them more. She stopped caring during the riot feud and I don’t blame her. She probably got made promises that are now going to Alexa and Nia and feels hurt. She should leave like Ambrose and relax for a year then wrestle in AEW or ROH then comeback to the E. Just don’t take away the efforts of Charlotte and Rebecca, they deserved that spot.
Next thing people going to say Alicia Fox and Dana underrated and should have been in the mania main event.

Funny when they want to use botching as a reason to trash her, as if the shyt show that was the wrestlemania main event wasn't filled with botches.
