It's really bizarre to me that they don't tell the talent ahead of time about shyt like moving brands, which necessitates a different schedule, altering previously made travel plans, etc. There's literally zero reason to do that other than lol work the boys mentality.

I'm sure part of is that they probably aren't sure them selves until the show actually starts. But meltzer said a while ago that there scared that details will leak out beforehand. So they leave as many people in the dark as possible.

Honestly, alot of cats on the roster treat WWE like it's the end all be all instead of a job and when you give them or any job that much power you are signing up to be mistreated.

One thing of note, though, is that no other wrestling company has the negotiating or litigation power of WWE.

The contracts there are solid. It’s not like just walking away from a temp job on a construction site (though they are called independent contractors for some reason)

If you’re Sasha Banks, you sign that WWE contract when you were Mercedes KV, there is no question about it. And now years later, you’re sad and upset about your character, but you have no real power legally which is where WWE is going to lean the hardest if/when shyt hits the fan (see Rey Mysterio and see Daniel Bryan)

The only thing people could do is go rogue on TV and get fired and then wait out the 60 days, but that risks burning the bridge of the largest and highest paying company in your field, so it’s not really worth it :yeshrug:

This was at the start of his heel turn just ahead of WM13.

How long between this and the screw job was it. I remember discussing the screw job with a friend and saying it was on raw after a cage match and he told me that was wrong cuz the screw job was survivor series. I was completely let down, thought i witnessed history but i did not.

She'll be back. Could be wrong but if they gave her a big title run and put her over as a top star she'd probably stay.

Then she isn’t coming back. They will never give a big run.
Last night they sabotage Becky by having her wrestle Alicia Fox in an awful match.

Updated the OP with this.

Sasha Banks Reportedly Wants To Sit Out The Rest Of Her WWE Contract - Wrestling Inc.

Sasha Banks is reportedly at a stalemate with WWE, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.

Regarding the situation between the two sides, we've noted how Banks reportedly tried to quit the company during WrestleMania 35 weekend as she was unhappy about her team with Bayley being split up, and the decision to put the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles on The IIconics. Banks and Bayley believed they would be given a lengthy run with the titles to make them mean something.

Word from within WWE is that Banks wants to sit out the rest of her contract, according to Meltzer.

There's no word yet on when Banks would be eligible to leave the company but Meltzer noted that WWE could add time to the contract for the time she spends not working, similar to the situation with Neville. She could be out of action for a significant amount of time if WWE adds time to the contract.

It was noted that WWE does want Banks back in the mix, but she wants things to be different. Those differences are unclear and not agreed on because the two sides have not made up yet.

Banks has been scheduled for the May 19 WWE Money In the Bank pay-per-view, but her status for the show is up in the air right now.

Dallas by way of Houston by way of San Antonio
I get the frustration. The way the crowds got behind Kofi and Becky in the weeks/months leading up to Mania and basically forced a payoff at Mania. Sasha had a meteoric rise on par with Becky leading up to Mania 32, but didn't get that same payoff. Banks is Asuka status (food for Charlotte + whoever the next flavor of the month is).

I just think its a dame shame that they can make someone who was so excited to be in the business, lose that passion and basically hate that same company

They have to feel like they are doing something wrong, with how so many people quitting at the same time.
