Mike And Maria Kanellis Reportedly Re-Sign With WWE - Wrestling Inc.
WWE 205 Live Stars Mike and Maria Kanellis agreed to a multi-year deal with WWE, according to Pro Wrestling Sheet. In the report, the duo were said to be happy with the final offers made to them by WWE.
Back in January there were reports of Mike and Maria asking for their release from WWE due to how they were being utilized within the company. Maria would later deny she had not asked for her release.
Last month, Maria noted on social media, "Contracts are up in 3 weeks. Just saying..." fueling speculation about if they would re-sign or not, obviously the two sides came to an agreement.
The couple originally started with WWE in June of 2017 and were shifted full-time to 205 Live last October.

I actually can’t believe they resigned but I guess it’s about the money.
I think they just trynna secure their family and I think Mike is done with trynna be a big star and just content with playing the background and fading into Bolivia.
If the E was smart though, instead of threatening guys backstage, they should flip it and all of a sudden just start utilizing him more on tv in bigger feuds. I’m not even saying “throw a title on him” but just make him do something meaningful to say “hey y’all look, y’all resign and we won’t fukk y’all like we been doing for the last 2-5 years.

on both sides i can see it...one i'm sure Mike and Maria thought they'd be doing more [hence the complaints] BUT Mike clearly enjoys being on 205 live because they actually get to wrestle. Plus with a baby i get why'd they'd accept the 5 year money increase, I hope he worked out some merch deals at least

Mike and Maria struggled big time when they were on the indie scene, now they have a new house and health insurance so they're good. Mike can be a good staple figure in the cruiserweight division or IC champion material for years.
