He most likely won’t get demoted but he will likely get a relief for cause which will likely end up with him out the door within a year. Or they could make an example out of him with HQDA help and kick him out ASAP (usually they don’t demote SFCs and above or people with over 18 years but they can and I’ve seen it done but they were usually felony crimes)
