*Update 9/2 - RIP* Breaking Twitter: WCW/TNA's Daffney Passes Away

I'd seen a post on Twitter around like 2am pst last night saying they still didn't get in contact with her and I hoped this wouldn't be the thread when I woke up. This is really sad.

Anyone going through it, stay as strong as you can... and if you can't, add me to the "shoot me a pm if you just need to talk to someone" list. I don't really be posting a whole lot around here, but I'll listen to you if you're going through it. Sometimes all a person needs is a sympathetic ear to hear them.

Jeez. Her phone was ringing off the hook and I have a sinking feeling that was family & friends desperately trying to reach her. A few years ago, I listened to an interview she did back in 2013/14 where she talked about all of the injuries that she had suffered and I remember she eventually started sobbing and admitted that her career was probably over which crushed her because she really seemed to love the business. I was always hoping that she would bounce back but some of the demons sadly take their toll on wrestlers worse than others. It seems like she was really liked by her fellow workers and she was a definite bright spot in WCW's final days. It's a pity that the E never picked her up. Daffney
