these people are on multiple platforms and their experiences are largely the same, the tiktok algorithm is better at connecting them with potential customers. go on teh small business/marketing forums, communities and chatrooms to find months or years old conversations of them telling people the pros and cons of each platform and see how tiktok is discussed.

I don't really care to be honest but I know my girl gonna be pissed because she likes using TikTok to watch a lot of motivational videos, love shows, advertise some of her photography work, and stuff like that.

As far as Trump “saving” TikTok, that's just his marketing ploy to win certain people over, similar to his putting his name on stimulus checks. If he were to save or put up a fight for TikTok it could create millions of newly found supporters to be on his side.

Is saving TikTok worth all that risk? Let's be honest: most people aren't using TikTok for political purposes; that's just on the surface as of late. Most people are using it to do ASMRs, reviews, blogs, sketches, sports reels, clothing hauls and try-ons, and other miscellaneous shyt. I don't know why people are acting like TikTok, at heart, is a beacon of free speech and political discourse .

To preface this, I don't care about Tiktok being banned and I see why they're being banned. I feel like if they were an American enterprise being forced to break up or be sold, they would've complied years ago.

With that said, Tiktok is different because YouTube only suggests videos that are viral so it leans towards popular users and major brands. Tiktok shows every user to you no matter if they have ten likes or a million likes and figures out what content you want by how long you watch and then keeps showing you more users like them. So it gives regular people a massive audience they can't get anywhere else. It's weird that American companies either can't or don't want to replicate this. It's probably the latter. Google wants people to pay for that kinda exposure. Tiktok gives it away for free.

That’s why I remember someone pointing out that celebrities were having a hard time translating to TikTok success because TikTok is closer to “real life” and non-filtered or processed like other apps where it’s basically an entertainment industry entity curating content.

Come to find out ordinary people are pretty entertaining and talented.

TikTok basically avoided “enshytification” through it’s entire American lifespan.

I don't think the shytty Supreme Court opinion even addresses why they think Lamont vs Postmaster General doesn't apply. However it is narrowly tailored to TikTok case and trying to ban RedNote could pose different issues.
