But shouldn't it be in a country's best interest to their best to protect their citizens from their biggest rival? That's the entire point of national security. ~120 million people use TikTok here in the US. I saw an interesting video on how that alt right recruitment works. And that's one thing I'm not sure how to stop from happening on social media. Since there's no "proof" that they are recruiting. Users just "stumble upon" their stuff in typical spaces that house vulnerable young white males like star wars videos, call of duty clips, anime fandoms etc.
I'm not sure how accurate everything in this video is but was alt right recruitment not an issue on tiktok?
