@ninaturner
The TikTok ban has set an extremely dangerous precedent.

@yz1
Another institution eroded from within. The judicial branch is meant to uphold free speech and serve as a check and balance, yet this ruling once again lays bare the hypocrisies at its core.

Who would benefit most from this ban? I can't help but wonder how much Musk & Zuck are involved.

Yeah it's not owned by some rich white guy so it's bad. only rich white guys can give away your data.

@kferrDC
The extremely dangerous precedent of….not allowing foreign adversaries to own social media apps that operate in this country?

@KMEmonda
I don’t agree with you often but I totally totally agree with you on this

Now tell them that members of CONGRESS HAVE BEEN BUYING up STOCK IN META. They are forcing Americans to a platform in which they have part ownership. Because it lines their pockets.

Its governmental overreach under the guise of national security, lending itself to the horrors that the Patriot Act pushed on American citizens.

@AaronMikita
Foreign companies shouldn't get to abuse our safety nets for companies while selling data to foreign adversaries.
15/41
@Gabe_Trust
I don’t agree.
Foreign spyware doesn’t have the protections of the 1st amendment. It was a 9-0 decision which is extremely rare.
You should read the decision and see the judges see it for what it clearly is: spyware.

@simulxxx
Foreign countries not owning media companies in the USA is fine.

@KnightRaV1NNet
I would rather it be shut down than to have some billionaire buy it that is out of touch.

Social media and google. They all collect the same information

Yes it has and it also proves Israel has way too much control and influence over our politicians and rights.

Washington set a 20$ minimum wage starting at the new year. Since it went into affect 6 businesses have closed. This is what happens when you force wage increases instead of letting the market do it. Can’t wait to see how many more close… so sad
26/41
@slidingblade
If they deny you access to the first amendment then what?
27/41
@IndomitusBD
Yes it has. Trump may say he is against THIS ban of THIS app, but the precedent has been set that he can ban a social media platform in the future.

The United States is going through a very bad time. Freedom ended long ago and has coasted downhill for decades. But now it hit a cliff with no brakes or rescue ropes.
