So, Giuliani who busted up the New York Mafia guarded Preme, meaning Preme had more money than La Costra Nostra to pay off Guiliani?
Where is this info from...curious to hear more about the political aspect. I'm not surprised at all that Suge & co. are involved but Giuliani seems like a stretch to me. Interesting nonetheless.
Not saying it's true or not but Guiliani does have family in the mafia. If Preme and them is just the Black side of the Italian mafia (that's all the Black Mafia is) then the connection makes even more sense. They could of used him as a buffer to deflect attention away from the Italian mafia.
Separate incidents. Starang got beat up with bats outside D&D studios by Junior Mafia for the video
Not sure what happened to them in the NO, but I know they had issues with Mystikal over the "Boot Camp Clik" name because Mystikal's crew had the same name
There was an incident back in '97-'98 where Mystikal and team came to NY and got rushed by the NY Boot Camp Clicc. I know Mystikal was in the army so I think the name was just a coincidence. To be honest I don't think them dudes was even known outside of the East Coast let alone down in New Orleans. I was in NO when Mystikal first album came out that had that Boot Camp Click song on it.
I watched the box daily and listened to q93 daily. Boot Camp Clicc from NY didn't make no noise down there for Mystikal to bite their name.
B.G. really had a huge heroin addiction to the point that i use to literally see this dude ride around in a Benz slump all the way over. geeked .
I can vouch for this. When I worked at the Plaza back in '99 one of my co-workers came in looking all sad, I'm thinking somebody got shot or something, I asked him what was going on and he said that BG was in one of the bathroom's at the mall all messed up. I guess it really hurt him to see him like that.
bruh just like ny, these stories about n.o. rappers can go on for days, they was all over the place the only ones that really weren't seen was silkk, slim(baby brother) and certain few. but during mardi gras and bayou classic you can bump into these mfs on the street and if you either shared the same habit or knew the same chick you would constantly bump into them.
I seen Baby and Slim one time. Again this was at the Plaza. So me and this chick I worked with was leaning against the counter not doing a damn thing, then all of a sudden she starts purring (don't know what else to call it). So I'm like what's going on and she points and she's like there goes Baby and Slim. So I look over and their backs are turned and they are walking away. I was just thinking to myself how tall Slim was. They had already done there thirty million dollar deal and was making alot if noise musically but they aint have not one goon or security guard with them.
Some time goes past and one day I clock in and hit the floor and this other chick was like Baby and them over by Dillard's filming a video.
I had forgot all about it but months later I'm checking out some videos and whatnot and everybody get ya roll on comes on. I quickly recognize the parking lot and the one dollar movie theater in there.
That parking lot that they in is the plaza parking lot. I think maybe they was there before scouting the location out. idk.

They had this cd shop uptown around the corner from me on Washington St. It was owned by some guy and his dad. I used to go there and gets cd's and (almost typed dvd's) vhs tapes back then. So one time I'm in there and one of them is on the phone complaining to somebody saying that Juvie wanted eight dollars for every cd and evidently he didn't want to give him that much back. This is the 400 degrees days. I know other artist in the game would get like ten cents per unit and the label would get the rest. But not them. So when you hear about them indie artist selling out the trunks of they cars or getting eight to ten dollars per cd on consignment from stores, they really wasn't lying.
