from 97-99 baton rouge and n.o. had beef over what i honestly dont know. dude right parts of br was beefing but we didn't separate them in any way. there were clubs called dreams, vibes, suga's(the strip club), the catholic center was actually a small church on campus and jaguar landing was the apartments that students stayed in and southern lab is the high school right by campus. when parties got thrown on campus it was us(n.o.) vs damn near everybody and when it first started it was br. then spread to texas and atlanta. boosie was doing music with his camp, and they would come on campus. literally it was fight on sight,a bunch of n.o. dudes would get jumped in the student center or wherever and retaliation would come at parties.boosie and a few dudes from the camp/label came to a party on campus at the catholic center and took that l. we had numbers not gone lie to ya'll. i was still young enough to go to high school shyt cause i was only 17 so i would go to teen parties and lil house parties and cut up. i didn't find out until after the fact exactly who we were fighting. if i made it seem like them nikkas had specific targets on them,not really, it was just cause they was from br and we was n.o. nikkas. looking back the shyt was stupid cause i got cool with beacoup br nikkas while i was there.like i said we was just part of it, older n.o. people would tell us smash on sight, so it was what it was.not gone lie i got robbed by some br dudes comin from my late classes. maybe dude @ReturnOfJudah can elaborate and tell how it got started, cause soon as i got on the yard, it was fukk baton rouge, n.o. taking over.and as far as what happened after, you had to be ready cause they'd come back an spray campus or at clubs. i don't know how it is now, but back then you can literally walk on and off campus, in and classes, if you knew the ra's in and out female dorms, and nobody checked id's at parties.my roommate snatched one of them rappin dudes chain and they literally ran him off campus.

Webbie would have been 12 years old in 1997. I think you might have Webbie confused with another local rapper. Now Boosie stayed getting into it at shows so I'm not doubting that part of the story

That whole n.o. Vs BR & N.O. Vs Shreveport beef on southern campus go back to the 70s. Just the knuckleheads from out of town trying to play hard on campus. It's the same shyt every year and it still goes on today. Once you off campus grounds there is no beef. nikkas got too much family around this state to seriously beef with an entire city

If yall remember when MTV used to do that "True Stories" shyt.... it was an ep when the Roc was on tour. And after a concert they went to this hood spot off Thurmond and NWest Blvd formally known as Brew Ha Ha's, one of them spots where it like one way in and out in a real shady spot in the city. Jay was already nervous as fukk being in there and was clearly uncomfortable. Beans was feeling himself a little too much and separated from his squad and went out into the crowd thinking niccas was gonna back down cuz he "around some bamas and not only is he on the Roc, he supposed to be some hard core cat from N Philly". Well, things didnt go as he thought as he and some dudes was jawing back and forth until someone finally swung on him and he got that work put to him and security had to come and save him.

Yeah I guess you can say I took a L that's why I'm heated. I went to this teen club called "the Belmont" and everybody from my hood use to wear different colored shirt with the words "O.A.K bout that mess" written on the front

I was in the spot literally 5 mins . I was blocking all around the club , throwing the hood up , trying to let nikkas know oaktown in the building then next thing you know i hear a drum set going off and my energy is getting low like some video game shyt. Boosie & Kirby and the other 50 nikkas caught me slipping cuz it was dark as fukk in there. I'm swinging on the nikkas in front of me while getting the brakes beat off me from behind (pause). Security kicked me out (wtf) but I was trying to get back in to get at them nikkas. I couldn't see my face so I didn't know how bad my shyt was. Kirby had on some sharp ass ring so my eyebrow needed like 10 stitches. Another nikka from my hood had the same thing happen to him by Kirby and he was the one that pointed out that ring shyt. shyt was already heated between both hoods, and that shyt wasn't nothing but fuel to the fire. Beef didn't stop until trill started and they focused on signing artist from all over the city
