WTF is the point of naming this after the game. When it’s not following the game’s story or characters. This literally could’ve been another Dark Pictures Anthology game or an original movie. They basically turned Until Dawn into Happy Death Day.

I think “game-ifying” the movie works better rather than a straight up adaptation. You can’t really translate what makes the game good by just playing it straight.

i think the 2nd game should be more like this also. This is giving me Cabin In The Woods vibes, where its like a meta-play on the horror genre

I thought The Last of Us turned a corner for video game adaptations but I guess I was wrong.
