Nobody cares what sneakers you wear.
And nobody who matters in your life will judge you for it.

But people still insist that “you can tell a lot about a person from their shoes”. Outside of what size they wear, no, you can’t.

You're not totally wrong. People can and do wear whatever they want and it doesn't matter, but as someone in the fashion industry best believe what you wear is one of the first things people notice about you. What people see first before they get to know you is how you dress. I've gotten so many compliments from random strangers just based off of the shoes or even the clothes (hoodie, jacket, t-shirt) I'm wearing.

You are right though that nobody important in your life will judge you based on what you are wearing.

Lol @ wearing brunch boots and wingtip shoes daily.

it’s Jordans/AF1 while running errands or other random shyt while wearing basketball shorts/sweats/hoodies.

A night out in the city then you got to get your grown man on if you’re in your 30s. Y’all ain’t Jim Jones or some rapper that has to keep the image.

Jordan hates the 2s because he got injured in them but they're the most comfortable pair of Js I own.

 wrong. He was wearing the ones. The 2's were made and designed to protect his foot after injury. He came back wearing the 1s for a while. I love the 2s also but yeah that's reason they're so comfortable.

Let's normalise wearing sneakers that is age and occassion appropriate i.e don't wear basketball sneakers to a business causual setting
And if you are over 30, you shouldn't be wearing jordans unless you are on the basketball court period:hhh:

These are the types of sneakers grown men should be wearing and I will die on that hill

There are certain times where you should be wearing a more minimalist shoe or something more classy/dressy.

With that said men over the age of 30 wearing Jordan's and the shoes don't make them look like clowns.
