I’m snapping up all the sneakers from that era that I see..

To add to the thread. The Griffeys are way too underrated
Griffey's were popping back when I was in the 8th grade for a little bit. Those shoes look nice as shyt to me. The Ewing's do as well.

There's a clear difference between looking youthful and looking juvenile.

You can be 60 years old and rock a pair of black Vapormax and still look good with the right fit......versus someone decked out like that R. Kelly pic posted previously.
Also, as you get older you want to wear something comfortable when you are out casually. Ain't nobody wearing dress shoes when you are going to the grocery store or out shopping with your wife :mjlol:

I wear dress shoes more lately but man I’m not wearing them on no normal shopping trips lol. Chucks, Puma, etc are here for a reason. I still wear adidas nmds cause they’re comfortable AF.

i just simply thing basketball shoes specifically, and maybe a couple other types of sneakers look kind of ridiculous outside of their intended purpose. I think these are okay to wear casually along with what a few other people posted.

they don't look gaudy and takeover a whole outfit like these huge cartoonish lookin basketball shoes do.

Most people wear basketball, running, and skate shoes from the 80s and 90s, casually.

Jordan 9s are the pinnacle of that line's designs.

That said, none of them joints are comfortable.

Wearing timbs and converse is the same concrete feeling.

:picard:

Curry, Kobe, LeBron, D-Rose and KD have the best ball shoes, in that order.
