Unpopular opinion: The 5 best seasons of Dexter are better than Breaking Bad's 5

The problem with this ruling is there is no such thing as "5" best seasons of Dexter. At best, you could probably say 3 or 4. But, it doesn't matter anyway b/c if you don't stick the landing and wrap the shyt up properly, you dont get no halfway crook award breh. They fucc'd off with some TERRIBLE seasons. TURRIBLE.

When does Dexter get bad? No spoilers please I just started watching it for the first time. Almost done with the first season. Pretty dope so far. Could get better IMO

I can only speak for myself but to me, the 1st three seasons are some of the best television you'll ever watch. The 4th season isnt too far off. Beyond that? The show starts to become a "highs and lows" fiesta, heavy on the lows. And by the last season? An absolute fuccin' joke. I haven't watched the finale to this day. I read about it but never actually watched it just cuz I was so disgusted with the fall off.

Essentially, yes. Show went from a cult hit to their flagship program and it seems like that somewhat drove them to start doing stupid shyt.

Yep the first four seasons, and to be quite honest, many people felt season 3 was meh.

I enjoyed that season, but I understood, because they ended that season kind of shaky.

Seasons 1-4 are dope and have Clyde Phillips as the show runner. I don't know if you're familiar with the term, a show runner is basically the guy that makes all the creative decisions on the show.

Chip Johannessen was the show runner for season 5.

Scott Buck was the show runner for seasons 6-8.

Ideally a heavily serialized show would only have one show runner. The fact that they changed show runners three times fukked the show up. Then on top of that Scott Buck was awful.
