Wow, well honestly education in a lot of places isn't seen as the high priority. Most not to this extent, but just look at how much the average college football coach gets paid compared to anybody else at a college.

There's really no excuse for UF though, its still regarded as a better public institution. It might not be on the level of UC-B, UM, or UNC but their engineering programs are top notch and they are by far the best academic program (UM is debatable) in the state of florida. even if that state has sunken real estate and bankrupt healthcare, they gotta have some pride and make shyt happen
