I’m sure they only release a portion of everything they have. Even the grainy footage they have isn’t the true HD pics they have.

Don’t know the advantage of only releasing “breadcrumbs” of images if they have clear pictures of the guy and want the public’s help.

And having a few cops in another state doesn’t let them go beyond NYC let alone NY state in pursuit of a criminal. The budget is inflated from overtime pay and over hiring. It’s not like they have super computers to solve crimes, or even the best detectives in the country.

They just employ a shyt ton of cops who get a shyt ton of overtime pay. If they can show he falsified his identity in another state and peg that to some sort interstate crime they will pass this to the FBI. Just for the sake of having jurisdictional authority wherever the case leads.

Ok bro you just arguing to argue… The crime happened in the confines of NYC in the state of NY… it’s NYPD’s case period full stop, so what the suspect fled to another state.. if another jurisdiction catches him they are turning him over to NYPD… Feds only step in and take control on suspicion of terrorism and if the suspect been assassinating ceos in other states as well..

This video provided some new info:

• He scouted the hotel area as soon as he got to NYC
• He did not talk to anyone and also wore his mask the entire time he was at the hostel including meals
• He had to recheck into the hostel after a few days, not sure if he is saying there was a night he missed between his two stays

Also, just an observation this is the one of the easiest times to get around the city. Rush hour doesn't really get kicking until 8 AM. He probably breezed to the GWB Port Authority. He probably was out of town literally less than an hour after the shooting.

I think traveling to another state to kill someone is within federal charging.

That's true but if the boss has a reputation then that's a bigger list which makes it hard for the FBI to narrow down on.

Then again, we have part of an image so it's possible or it could be a relative, spouse or someone close.

Yeah but it’s an investigation. This isn’t a situation where they put out a warrant and everybody just keeps an eye out for him and then he gets arrested and extradited. That’s where the disconnect between what you’re saying is happening.

They don’t know who he is and he might have come from out of state via the bus. Plus as long as he has committed any interstate crime even if it’s falsifying documents or traveling with unregistered weapons between states the feds can come in and take over the case, which the NYPD should support because once again the feds have better tools to track people across states. The NYPD isn’t even built to track people around all of NY state. They just put out a warrant. Now maybe if this was a low profile case they would stop at asking for people to call in, but that shyt was an assassination that went viral, you know the FBI is putting pressure on them to give them the case.
