This is going to be a case study for sociologists and historians....

I been looking at these social media takes...and though I won't endorse violence I can objectively see people making this dude into a real life folk hero. It's too early to tell since Snowden and Assange once trended this way but this feels different. Like more ordinary people than intellectuals. Health care is more visceral than international politics or privacy invasions.

I mean if he is caught the system can't just prosecute him, they have to personally destroy and delegitimize him as the support is so strong. I haven't seen this kind of sympathy since George Floyd.
