The government has enough money to focus on high profiles like this. They have technology now that can scan faces. It occurred to me most of y’all thinking cops was gonna be checking every face on camera. Nope. Tech can scan hundreds of faces in minutes. The technology certainly exists.

If you know killers (I literally lived next to a nikka who had 6 bodies and we had no idea dude was a paid hitman) then hiding in plain sight is sometimes more effective than going far away or constant movement.

He's safer walking NY streets and going to work everyday than he is hopping on a freeway/plane and driving to Milwaukee or some shyt.

They EXPECT you to run and avoid being out in the open. If their technology can't face match with only the eyes of the suspect, if he avoided cameras or changed appearances between multiple cameras, burned everything he used that day, then staying in NY and continuing life is probably the best bet.
