The demo didn’t draw me in and I actually loved 13 sentinels. It was just a drag I was hoping it would eventually pick up like triangle strategy demo did.

I love the demo Vanillaware don’t miss. fukk March is going to go down as one of my favorite months in gaming if DD and Rise of the Ronin deliver like they should

Yeah, pretty much or like Fire Emblem. You pretty much set your gambits pre-encounter, command your troops to the encounter and the battles play out according to how you set up their gambits.

Story is what you’d expect, but with really nice art and music. Didn’t get far enough for a full class list yet. I’m gonna ply more through it tomorrow

Yeah, it is very different to 13 Sentinels, but more in line with Vanillaware's other stuff. 13 Sentinels kind of bucked the trend with their games having a good story with good characters; everything else has been gameplay and systems focussed first with story/characters a distant concern.

Obviously you know what you are getting with them in terms of presentation and the overall audio-visual experience.

so like.... last remnant style autobattling *can* work, but its not really what i was hoping for. gonna sit down with this over the weekend
