Well those are two differenct stances, being anti vaccine and being against a specific vaccine, and intelligent people would understand the difference.

It's a moot point though. MMR vaccine has absolutely no tangible links to any autism. Also, I'm not aware of anyone being able to get them individually (Measles, Mumps, Rubella vaccine). So his stance like I said is still dangerous and wrong.

well his stance isn't dangerous if he is saying get vaccinated, just take the single vacination instead of the grouped one.
As for dangers of MMR, I think one guy produced a study linking it to a rise in african americans, in atlanta, but more linked to the time frame in which it was administered than the drug itself. I'll see if I can find it.
that said, I think we need to start with a little more intelelctual honesty before you attack a person.

There have been numerous peer reviews done on the topic and there has been no correlation between the two. At all, nada. You didn't read anything about Atlanta nikkas getting autism from MMR anywhere reputable. At this point, you're free to do what you want but it becomes a problem when your ignorance endangers the rest of us.

If the man said don't take any vaccinations, you could argue he is dangerous.
If he is saying don't take that specific vaccination take others, you can't claim he is dangerous or that he is leading people into danger.
Just say you think he is lying about the MMR vaccine but that is far different than saying he is dangerous.

Wakefield is the biggest medical fraud of our time. There's a specific reason why he's against MMR and not single vaccines - because he had filed his own patent for his own rival single vaccine cure months prior to publishing his faked study. This undisclosed conflict of interest is part of the reason he got banned from practising medicine in UK for life.
He had previously tried to create links with measles to crohn's disease, other bowel diseases which failed. Then he tried with MMR but the lies got traction - the rest is history.
Thats well and good, my point is that what he is saying isn't dangerous, at worst he is a opportunistic guy with lack of morals and ethics, but if he isn't saying don't take any vaccines, just don't take this specific vaccine, to claim he is leading people to danger is clearly false and it needs to stop as a criticism.

he says 'don't take MMR vaccine', that alone is dangerous. He says they can take single vaccines, which he has a patent for, BUT THESE ARE NOT MADE ANY MORE. that is effectively saying 'don't take any of the measles vaccines that are available'. this is clearly 'leading people to danger'
His actions have spawned a whole movement of anti-vaxx nonsense e.g. thiomersal hype, and the medical industry spending decades and millions vainly trying to prove a negative.
Unless you're knowledgeable enough to know why you dislike a specific vaccine
