Unexpected real life wrestler sightings

[Reality Check]

I met The Rock, Steve Austin, Triple H, Gangrel, Chyna in 98 at JFK. My cousins took pictures with Austin. Back then I wasn't a WWE so I didn't even know who Rocky was and regret it cause he was cool af and now in my top 2 of all time. I got back into wrestling by watching the last 10 min of WCW for Goldberg. Then eased into WWE during the attitude era and some ECW.

Maybe like 2015, I met Bad News Barrett at 24 hour fitness in Houston off 290 and Tidwell. That's when I realized wrestlers appear larger on TV than in person. He was cool as shyt. Also why I can't watch AEW without laughing. they puny af over there.

Most athletes in general are not their listed height and weight. Only two athletes I've met who came close to what they were billed at were Peter John Ramos (former player on the Wizards) and Mark Henry.

i worked at Celebration Florida Hospital, i was an orderly, I met Dvon Dudley and his wife, they just gave birth, i wheeled her out of the hospital. D-von is brolic as fukk, TV dosnt do it justice

I also saw Kevin Nash in the lobby of the same hospital, sitting on the lobby sofa with his boys, i didn't get a good look at them, but i think he was coming outta knee surgery

Attended a corporate dinner with Vince McMahon

almost all of the wrestlers I met were nice guys and friendly except Bob Backlund, he is a legit psychopath and prick

Farooq aka Ron Simmons came thru my line when I was a cashier at dollar tree. It was kind of awkward because I had to repeat myself when I told him his total. I didn't make a big deal about it but was def star struck in my head.

WWE's old developmental territory, Deep South Wrestling operated right where I used to live in McDonough GA, in a dingy plaza behind a self-service carwash

One time in '05 I was in Books-A-Million reading the wrestling mags in the back and Palmer Cannon (he played a UPN exec on SmackDown) comes up to me and starts hyping up the promotion to get me to check out their shows. A few of my friends would spot Miz, MVP and other cats hanging around the area. One met Great Khali at Gold's gym and my older brother worked at Walgreen's at the time and a lot of the guys from there would pick up their prescriptions

Saw Big Cass at my old gym in Glendale Queens. And I'm pretty sure I saw Taz years ago driving his SUV in a shopping center on Long Island

talked to Ricochet at LAX waiting for a flight after a New Japan show he was on, was kind of a nerdy guy but very down to earth and cool. Meng and his sons were there too but I didn't talk to them. Brook Lopez was on the same flight and he's the biggest human I've ever seen in person.

Saw Batista in the Beverly Center after his GOAT heel run wrapped up so maybe 2010/2011 and he was gigantic

I met Christian and Tommy Dreamer years back in Sacramento. My wife and I were staying at the same hotel as the wrestlers. Christian was cool as fukk. Just gave him the head nod and did the Peeps salute. And he did it back, he was going to the elevator so I didn’t wanna bother him. Tommy Dreamer looked to be mad about something and grumbled hi as he walked right by me with his luggage.

Boxing day or around boxing day back when ECW dvd dropped (maybe 2004?) I was in a HMV store in downtown Toronto. I was in line and fukking Bret Hart was in front of me. We shot the shut for 2 mins. Cool dude.

I was on a plane with Josh Mathews back in 2019. Random AF

One day at my old job Booker T was there doing a little meet and greet thing. It was the same day as a SD shooting here. I worked for Bell. He was cool. I entered a quick in office draw and won second row tix for the night. A few UFC guys came through as well.
