NJ taxes are ridiculous ( not to undermine NY taxes) plus... NY is a city not a state. The rest of NY ( Upstate) is fairly reasonable ( cost of living wise)
really

i always was intrigued by NJ cause you dont gotta pay taxes on clothes and sneakers
